COPA DEL REY FINAL: REAL MADRID 3-3 BARCELONA

Real Madrid 3-3 Barcelona. The Copa del Rey has produced six Clasico finals in its 112-year history and it's all square so far, but a seventh showpiece between Spain's two top teams is now a reality after Barca beat Real Sociedad 3-1 on aggregate to join Madrid in April's big cup clash.

On Tuesday night, Carlo Ancelotti's side became the first team in the competition's history to reach the final of the Copa without conceding a single goal after advancing with a 5-0 aggregate win over last year's winners Atletico.

But Barcelona's route to the final was similarly impressive, with Gerardo Martino's men winning all but one of their games on their way to the meeting with Madrid on April 19, sealing their spot in the showpiece thanks to a 1-1 draw at Real Sociedad on Wednesday.

The first time Barca met Madrid in a Copa del Rey final was way back in 1936, just under a month before the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War.

I REGRET LEAVING BAYERN!

Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski has admitted that he regrets leaving Bayern Munich for Koln in the summer of 2009.

The Germany international moved to the Allianz Arena from the RheinEnergieStadion in 2006 only to then return to his boyhood club three years later, after a difficult 2008-09 campaign in which he made just 14 Bundesliga starts.

However, Podolski now feels he would have been better off staying at Bayern, particularly as Jupp Heynckes was appointed coach just days after his departure.

"From a sporting point of view, my return to Koln was not very helpful for my career," the Arsenal attacker told Sport Bild.

"I think that I would now still have been with Bayern if only Jupp Heynckes had arrived at the club one or two weeks earlier.

"He really wanted to hold on to me."

HAZARD: BALLON D'OR PODIUM IN FUTURE

Belgium boss Marc Wilmots has claimed he would prefer Eden Hazard in his team than Lionel Messi,Cristiano Ronaldo or Neymar.

The Chelsea star, 23, has been in stellar form in the Premier League lately and has helped his side rocket up to the top of the table at Arsenal and Manchester City's expense.

Wilmots, who is sure to take Hazard to this summer's World Cup, lavished praise on the former Lille winger, whom he believes is becoming a candidate for the Ballon d'Or with his performances at Stamford Bridge.

"Eden has found in the Belgium team a side that can take him as high as his dreams," the Belgium head coach told L'Equipe.

"Even within a very strong team, Eden stands out because he has something more. Technically, he is amazing! I'd put him on my podium Ballon d'Or because he totally convinced me of his talent.

"If you ask me if I want Messi, Ronaldo or Neymar, I'd keep Hazard."

NAPOLI KNOCKOUT ROMA TO REACH TIM CUP FINAL SPOT

Rudi Garcia says Roma have no one to blame but themselves after Napoli knocked them out of the Coppa Italia with a 5-3 aggregate semi-final win.

Jose Callejon, Gonzalo Higuain and Jorginho struck for the Partenopei in their 3-0 second-leg win on Wednesday, sealing a space in the final after the opener finished 3-2 in Roma's favour.

Garcia thinks that the tie slipped away from the Giallorossi due to the first leg at Stadio Olimpico, when they conceded twice after taking a dominant lead, and he rued their missed chances in the first 45 minutes at the Stadio San Paolo.

"Perhaps we lost the qualification in the first leg, as we conceded two goals when we were 2-0 up," the coach told reporters.

"This evening we had three chances to score in the first half and didn't make the most of them. We should've been more ruthless in attack and also in defence, as we made mistakes in both legs.

"If there was a side that should've been in front at half-time, then it was us. The fact we weren't was our fault."

Garcia went on to congratulate Napoli for reaching the final, where they will play Fiorentina later this season, but insisted his second-placed Serie A side would bounce back from the loss.

SOROTAN LIGA PERDANA : MATCH 03#

Negeri Sembilan kembali menemui rentak apabila menewaskan Felda United dengan jaringan 2-1. Negeri Sembilan berjaya membalas kembali kekalahan pada pusingan awal Piala FA. Johor DT II pula hanya menang tipis 1-0 mengatasi Perlis yang dilihat semakin luka.

Sementara itu di Stadium Bandaraya pula Pulau Pinang juga mampu menang tipis keatas UITM FC 1-0 hasil jaringan Lee Gil Hoon. PDRM meneruskan rentak cemerlang mereka dengan menang 1-0 mengatasi Sabah manakala SPA FC berjaya mengekang asakan DRB Hicom FC dengan jaringan 1-0.

Perlawanan Kedah menentang PBA Penang telah ditunda ke satu tarikh yang sesuai kelak. Berikut adalah kedudukan terkini carta Liga Premier 2014:
